Assel invests in solder paste inspection equipment

Polish EMS-provider Assel has invested in a new Parmi Sigma XSPI (solder paste inspection) machine.
Having SPI machine inline allows for continuous analysis of solder paste on each board and for quick correction of any discrepancy, as the machine sends an immediate signal to the printer to make a correction.

"We have selected this machine as it is very precise, fast and simultaneously easy to operate. It has a new upgraded software and all data is on the Parmi machine itself, unlike other equipment where an external computer is necessary to display data," says an Assel’s representative, "with better management of printing, we are better serving more demanding customers’ such as companies in automotive, or medical industries."
