Samsung ramping up production of Galaxy S6

South Korean tech-giant Samsung is raising its production target for the company's new flagship Galaxy smartphone model.
The decision follows a positive market reception of the new flagship model, according to a report in Reuters, citing Korean newspaper Electronic Times.

An unnamed source stated that; for April, Samsung is increasing its total production target for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge devices to 8 million units from the previous 7 million units. The production target for March however remained unchanged at 5 million units, the report continues.

Samsung has declined to comment on the matter.
