Foxconn eyeing Nokia's Chennai plant?

The EMS-giant is reportedly interested in taking over Nokia's Chennai, India facility.

Foxconn is planning to invest billions in India and as part of this, the Nokia's Chennai plant may soon be in the possession of Foxconn. And with this Foxconn enters the game for the facility, going head to head with Lava over the Indian facility, according to a report in the Economic Times Adding fuel to the rumour; Micromax, a customer of Foxconn, has reportedly stated that it will source up to 25% of production from this facility, if Foxconn takes over. Currently, Foxconn manufactures phones for Micromax, though mainly in China, the report concludes.
