Contac Solutions acquires Westland Elektronik

Westland Elektronik can now after a few tough years, due to a loss of a major customer, look forward to a more promising future. “The acquisition of Westland is part of our growth strategy for the future. The new Westland factory will be a good complement to our operations in China and our own China cable harness factory. The existing European Contac Solutions customers will be able to get faster and closer support for urgent needs and Westland customers will be able to benefit from our China operations” states Anders Carlsson, MD Contac Solutions. The Sala factory will remain as before but the name will be changed to Contac Solutions AB. The focus in Sala will remain; cable harness manufacturing and light assembly.
