Another EMS contemplating robots

Danish contract manufacturer Micro technich A / S wants to streamline its production by investing in increased automation.
Micro technich, based in the Danish Aarup, is working - just like all of the EMS companies - on a tough market. The high wage pressures make it difficult to increase staff and therefore companies are looking at new solutions when in need of more capacity.

- We need to be competitive and therefore we are looking, among other things, at including robotics, says product and marketing manager Frank Max Laursen to the local newspaper Fyens.dk.

A few weeks ago, Danish BB Electronics said that they will automate more of their production to keep competitive. This solutuons was meant for the facility in danish Horsens.
