éolane Bangalore wins its first Aeronautics contract

éolane Bangalore has won its first customer in the Aeronautics segment as part of its Business sector diversification project.
The newly-won customer is a Design and Integration firm from Bangalore that works with local and global aeronautic and defence companies. PCBs for helicopter control & navigations systems are to be assembled at éolane Bangalore. The other products to be built in the coming months include:
  • CSWS (Control Saturation Warning System), which is an interface with a helicopter flight data recorder to record control saturation. It also monitors in-flight monitoring, battery reliability and growth capacity.

  • GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) used for navigation purposes in tankers. The RFQ process started in Q4 2013 and the first pilot batch was shipped in January 2014.

To further align the company's Process and Quality Management Systems with the Aeronautics sector requirements, éolane Bangalore has started preparations to achieve AS9100C. The final certification audit is planned in Q3 2014.
