Ambit signs deal with NSN

Ambit Microsystems - part of the sprawling Foxconn empire - is one of those companies that received a 4G mobile communication licensees in Taiwan. To facilitate this future, the company had been looking around the market for 4G base station equipment. It seems that Ambit has settled with Nokia Solutions and Networks; bringing a nice USD 178 million check with them, writes Digitimes. The company however pointed out that this is not the end - but rather the beginning - of a larger shopping spree.
