Osram, Avago in White LED agreement
Osram and Avago has signed a patent agreement for White LEDs and LED System Technology.
According to neasia.nikkeibp.com the two companies have signe a cross-license agreement where Osram has granted Avago a patent license for several patents to manufacture and sell white LEDs with special conversion technology, and surface mount (SMT) LEDs and Avago Technologies has granted Osram a patent license covering LED systems, including systems for projection and flat-panel LCDs.
