Minimal growth for Thinfilm world market
The market for Integrated Thinfilm Circuits is stagnating. With a slightly more positive take on things, analysts see a below 2% growth for the market this year.
For the German market, the experts at the German industry association ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems is even less favourable. Here a decrease of a little over 2% is forecast. This mainly due to a 3.1% decrease in Automotive Electronics.
It has to be noted that the massive 22.0% drop recorded for 2013 (also in the segment Automotive Electronics) is due to an Inhouse manufacturer moving production away from Germany.
