MSC unveils new product series at Productronica

In response to progressively faster component cycle times up to > 15 GHz, new flexible laminates and bond plies have been developed by Du Pont, in which PTFE is being used as ‘adhesive’ which has an accordingly high fusion point. Until now, no suitable laminating aids were available (or just provisory solutions) to withstand the required high temperatures. Primary MSC developed and patented these new auxiliaries to enable its customers to process DuPont’s latest high-tech flexible laminates. How ever Heat Shield release film and press pads are considered for plenty of laminating challenges more such as laminating of Polyimide or PTFE MLB as well as products based on LCP Polymers.
