Strong 2005 for Orbotech

Orbotech's profit was boosted by the good Q4 result of $12 million in net income. The company's revenues increased 17% to reach almost $380 million. Notable is that the company during the year also has increased its R&D spending by almost 14 % to reach $55 million. “We are pleased with our financial results for the quarter, and for 2005 as a whole, in which we posted record revenues.
