US EMS to follow RoHS directive
The awareness of the RoHS directives consequenses has spread to the American EMS firms.
According to manufacturing.net the US based EMS firm Contemporary Controls has made the transition to RoHS compliant manufacturing at its facility in Suzhou, China.
"Our manufacturing personnel received skilled training on all new equipment and procedures," plant manager Basile Waite, told manufacturing.net.
