Flextronics axe nearly 1000
Flextronics plans to lay off 950 workers from its east Hungarian plant unless the plant receives new orders.
According to a local report production cycle was seasonal and the current lay-offs would affect as many people as had been hired in the last six months of 2005. The plant has 2000 employees and is based in Nyíregyháza, Hungary.
