Freescale in partnership with UMC
Chipmaker Freescale will is extend its foundry partnership from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), Chinese – language Economic Daily News reports.
Freescale just hired Chris Chi, the former president of UMC in Europe, to be its new vice president of external manufacturing, DigiTimes report.
