Seagate to acquire Maxtor
According to Reuters Hard Disk drive maker Seagate is acquiring Maxtor for $1.9 billion in stock.
According to Reuters the two companies will by sharing expenditure on R&D operations extend its range of products and by operating more efficiently obtain cost savings of $300 million per year.
