Order intake increased significantly - with 18.5 percent - compared to April 2012. YTD, order intake increased 3.9 percent, a number that corresponds to the 10-year average. Especially companies that specialize in prototypes noticed an increasing demand. The book-to-bill ratio increases steadily in small increments since the beginning of the year and reached 0.99. The number of employees fell by 5.7 percent, due to structural adjustments.
