Foxconns confirms expansion in Taiwan
EMS-giant Foxconn will focus the 2013 investments on building up capacity in Taiwain, chairman Terry Guo revealed.
Three sites are being named as targets for expansion: New Taipei City, Taichung and Kaohsiung, according to Digitimes.
Foxconn is headquartered in Taiwan. However, they are best known for the gigantic production facilities in mainland China where they produce consumer products for a wide range of brands, including Apple.
