Samsung eyeing second handset plant in Vietnam
Samsung Electronics is planning to build a 700 million dollar production facility in Vietnam.
According to the Korea Times, Samsung confirmed on Sunday that it is engaged in discussions with the Vietnamese government regarding plans for a second handset plant in the country.
The company would like to build the factory in Thai Nguyen, a city currently reliant on agriculture as its main source of income. Samsung currently owns and operates a handset plant in Bac Ninh.
