Ruwel invests in a large-scale installation in Germany

European PCB manufacturer, Ruwel has invested in a large-scale photovoltaic installation in Germany.

In total, 1790 photovoltaic modules with a surface area of some 3000 m2 were installed on roofs belonging to the works. The installation has an output of roughly 411 kWp and is certainly the largest in the home region. The 22 inverters in the installation originate from the Ruwel customer SMA. With it, numerous PCBs in the devices also return to Geldern, Germany. Commisioned at the beginning of August, the installation makes it possible to monitor via the SMA homepage using customer access and to analyse all relevant measurement data. The installation cost a total of some 600,000 euros and constitutes a long-term investment in the German Geldern location the company said.
