Sharp to sell major solar plant?

Local media reports suggest Sharp is in talks to sell its solar panel plant in Japan.
The Yomiuri daily reported that Sharp is looking to sell its plant in Sakai, Japan. A Sharp spokeswoman has also confirmed to Reuters that the company is considering a number of options. While she did not confirm that the company was in talks specifically on the solar plant, she did say finding a buyer for the plant would be difficult.

Hon Hai has already purchased half of the Sakai site’s liquid crystal display plant.
