Sharp considers sale of factories to Foxconn

Sharp may sell overseas factories to Foxconn according to reports on Saturday.
The Nikkei business daily said Sharp was considering selling its LCD module plants and may also consider selling its domestic plants.

Foxconn is aiming to renegotiate the terms of its agreement, made in March, to buy 10-percent of Sharp.

Sharp will make a decision on the sale by the end of September according to Kyodo News.
