Hitachi Cable Europe builds Czech facility

HCE will prepare for manufacturing operations and hire personnel to start commercial production at the facility in February 2013. With a floor area of 3,000m2 plant will hire approximately 36 employees. HCE said it reduced initial investment and administrative costs by constructing the new facility within the premises of Hitachi Automotive Systems Czech, a Group company of Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ltd. Production is scheduled to begin in February 2013. In an attempt to step up the overseas automotive components business further, HCE aims at doubling its brake hose manufacturing capacity by the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, three years after the start of operations.
