iTAC Software and Yamaha Motor collaborate

iTAC Software AG and Japan-based Yamaha Motor IM are collaborating on the development of an SMT assembly system machine interface which will facilitate online communication between the Yamaha machines and the iTAC SMT interface. Yamaha entered into the collaboration so that it can meet all future customer traceability requirements in compliance with the strict German regulations and remain competitive on the international market. Chief Operating Officer of iTAC Software AG, Peter Bollinger, explained, “Having Yamaha Motor IM as a customer adds another market leader to our customer base and underlines our benefits as system partner in the MES market.” Managing Director of Yamaha Motor IM Europe GmbH, Nobuyuki Nishizawa, added, “Not only are we enhancing the potential of the Yamaha Motor IM in the demanding automotive market, we now also have access to the know-how of the strongest MES provider in the market.
