Electrolube receives approval

Electrolube has received approval from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for its TFA, Toluene Free Acrylic conformal coating.

The acrylic coating has secured UL 746E certification for use on recognised printed circuit boards. Designed to protect PCBs, LEDs, electronic components and printed panels against humidity and environmental attack, the TFA coating is also IPC-CC-830 certified, RoHS compliant and meets the requirements of MIL. Robert Crosby-Clarke, European Brand Director at Electrolube, says: “Securing UL 746E approval for TFA signifies our commitment to researching and developing high performance conformal coatings products.
