Google to manufacture home-entertainment systems?
A report by the Wall St. Journal suggests Google is developing a home-entertainment system capable of wireless streaming.
According to the Journal, the system would be marketed under Google's own brand and also manufactured by the company. The Journal cites ”people briefed on the company's plans”.
Google currently only provides software for Google TV devices so the move to manufacturing would be a major strategic change.
