Hitachi buys HUECO automotive
Hitachi Automotive Systems Europe has acquired 100 percent shares in HUECO Automotive, headquartered in Espelkamp, Germany from HUECO electronic, a portfolio company of Sued Beteiligungen GmbH.
Announced earlier this month, the company did not reveal further details of the purchase except that the purchase aimed to strengthen Hitachi's automotive aftermarket business in the European.
“Hitachi Automotive Systems Europe intends to further expand its automotive aftermarket business in Europe by utilizing the enhanced resources, sales channels and experiences gained through the acquisition of HUECO Automotive,” the company said in a press release.

Frequency Electronics has completed the purchase of all the capital stock of Elcom Technologies.
