Orbotech up in the third quarter
Orbotech today announced its consolidated financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2005. Revenues for the third quarter of 2005 were $93.7 million, compared to $89.3 million recorded in the second quarter of 2005 and $82.7 million in the third quarter a year ago.
Net income for the third quarter of 2005 was $11.1 million, or $0.33 per share (diluted), compared to net income of $9.5 million, or $0.29 per share (diluted), in the second quarter of 2005 and $9.4 million, or $0.29 per share (diluted), in the third quarter of 2004.
Revenues for the first nine months of 2005 totaled $283.5 million, compared to $227.4 million recorded during the same period in 2004. Net income for the first nine months of 2005 was $31.2 million, or $0.94 per share (diluted), compared to net income of $23.0 million, or $0.70 per share (diluted), for the same period last year.
