Zot Engineering invests in employee training

Eight Employees from UK Printed Circuit Board Manufacturer, Zot Engineering, recently qualified as IPC-A-600 Application Specialists.
The training was carried out by IPC certified training company Advanced Rework Technology Ltd over 3 days at Zot Engineering’s Printed Circuit Facility in Edinburgh (Scotland).

A spokesman for the company commented:

"This training is part of our commitment to giving our customers the quality and reliability demanded in the market today. This gives our employees the ability and understanding to inspect and produce product to the highest standards as demanded by our customers."

It is part of an ongoing investment within the Printed Circuit Division, in both equipment and Employees, which over the last 12 months has amounted to over GBP 5'000'000 and included a New Orbotech Sprint 8 Legend Printer, Orbotech Discovery AOI, Primary Imaging Cleanroom upgrade and refurbishment of the Soldermask Printing department.

In addition to this, 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives have been introduced with widespread employee participation, within the Company.
