Kitron didn't reach positive results
Kitron presented a pre-tax loss of NOK 1.4 for its latest quarter. Operating income was NOK 331.4 mill (2004: NOK 381.0 mill) and the pre-tax loss was NOK 1.4 mill (2004: profit NOK 0.8 mill).
Kitron said in its report that it sees limited growth in the Nordic EMS market. Therefore no expansion in Norway has been done. It is limited availability of new products with large volume. However Kitron sees some growth in Sweden, and it's build-up expects to yield increased market share. But it is some tough competition.
Kitron sees increased interest in outsourcing more stages in the manufacturing process (HLA). Also the growth in microelectronics market is expected to continue.
