PKC increase net sales
Finland based EMS provider PKC Group's net sales in the January-September period increased by 15.7% on the previous year to EUR 146.7 million (126.7 million in Jan-Sept 2004).
Operating profit was EUR 19.4 million (14.5 million) and profit before taxes was EUR 20.1 million (14.2 million). The diluted earnings per share were EUR 0.80 (0.54). The interim report, including comparative figures, has been prepared according to IFRS standards.
"Consolidated net sales increased significantly due to the growth in the production volume of the commercial vehicle industry and in PKC's market share. This, combined with production rationalisation measures, led to remarkably high profitability. The relative profitability for the whole year is expected to surpass last year's level somewhat," says Mika Kari, President and CEO.
