PartnerTech recieves breakthrough order

PacketFront, a Swedish provider of broadband solutions, chose the EMS provider PartnerTech as a strategic partner. The deal is expected to be worth about SEK 300 million(over EUR 30 million) over a two-year period for PartnerTech's business unit Industry/Telecom. The shipping will start by the year-end where both material supplying, manufacturing and distribution are included. "PartnerTech has through flexibility, a high grade of service and a broad technical understanding showed that they have the competence needed to manufacture our high-tech products in the future. They have a very cost-effective manufacturing which has been an important parameter in our choice of partner, said Martin Thunman, CEO of PacketFront. Material supplying, manufacturing and distribution of the equipment will partly be operated from PartnerTech's factory in Vellinge, Sweden and partly from PartnerTech's facility in Sieradz, Poland.
