PCB market continues to grow in January 2011

Revenues exceeding the ten-year average by 4%. Order intake increased 14% sequentially. Interestingly, the last decade only recorded a higher January order intake for 4 year. Compared with the - exceptionally - good performance during January 2010, order intake decreased 2.9%, which corresponds to the ten-year average. Companies report full utilisation of capacity. This also applied to newly created (additional) production capacity. © ZVEI The book-to-bill ratio reached a value of 0.99 in January 2011. Staff numbers decreased sequentially by 1%, but were still higher - 9% - compared to January 2010.
