Epson Toyokom's Fukushima facility closed indefinitely

Epson Toyokom Corp. has closed down its manufacturing facility in Minamisoma-city, Fukushima indefinitely. The facility manufactures crystal oscillators.
Due to the decision made by the Japanese Government to issue an evacuation order for all residents within a 20km radius around the damaged Fukushima power plant, Epson has been forced to close the facility - which is located around 16km from the power plant - indefinitely.

Epson Toyocom Employees
The company confirmed that although no casualties had been reported among Epson Toyocom staff as of March 31, the fate of one employee remained unknown. Epson Toyocom is continuing to make every effort to confirm the employee's safety.
