Fujitsu with damages at 6 sites

Fujitsu Group reports damages to building and production equipment.
"Fujitsu would like to express our heartfelt condolences to everyone who has been affected by the earthquake which hit the Tohoku (northeast) region of Japan on Friday, March 11, 2011."

The Fujitsu Group will be donating JPY 100 million (EUR 875'000) and relief supplies to support the rescue and recovery efforts.

1. Damage Situation and Recovery Process

Damages to buildings and production equipment including the ceilings, walls, and drain pipes of the Fujitsu Group's plants and offices have affected business operations. Furthermore, planned rotational electricity blackouts have affected operations of Fujitsu Group companies based in the Kanto region of Japan.
