Kamic Group acquires Polish factory

Iconex is a manufacturing company that focuses on optical, passive components and special cables for the telecom sector, industrial environments etc. The company has 25 employees and is situated in Babice Nowe, 10 km outside central Warsaw. Business Area Manager Matthias Eriksson states: "We have acquired an impressive factory with potential that we are able to use. It is also an acquisition in line with our strategy to become the leading component manufacturer in northern Europe. Iconex was our main supplier for ODF-boxes, copper/fibre cables and lego-cables. We will now take the product line from Iconex to more markets and expand our offerings in the local polish market".
