Jabil with new MD in Hungary
Jabil Circuit Kft., the Hungarian unit of EMS-provider Jabil, has appointed a new managing director.
Lajos Palásti has been named managing director, as of March 1, 2011. He is not entirely new to the company - having worked as CFO. Zoltán Király, previously holding that position, will continue remain within Jabil Circuit, local media reports.
The position of COO has been divided: Peter Győri will be responsible for 'High-Volume', will Richárd Somogyi has been assigned to lead the division 'High-Mix'.
On a separate note, Jabil is also said to have invested around USD 10 million in a new injection molding facility in China aimed at serving the medical market.
