Philips to produce 3D TV in Hungary

The Dutch electronics giant Royal Philips has added the production of high-tech gadgets to Hungary's portfolio.
The company will manufacture 3D TVs and LED lighting fixtures at its facilities in Hungary. Here, the manufacturing facility in Székesfehérvár will be focussed on 3D TV. Initial production in 2010 is estimated to reach to between 400'000 and 500'000 units. Production output is scheduled to reach 1 million. The manufacturing hub in Tamási will produce LED light fixtures, local media reports.
