Parker Hannifin to close in UK

Parker Hannifin is considering the closure of its Derby facility, resulting in the loss of 110 jobs.
The closure is blamed on 'aggressive market competition', writes the BBC. Parker Hannifin has started a 90-day consultation with staff and unions. A sales office in the city may also be closed and work is likely to be transferred to a facility in Warwick.
