Jabil further invests in Hungary
Florida-based EMS-provider Jabil will invest further in its Hungarian operations in Tiszaújváros.
Jabil Hungary is to invest HUF 1.8 billion (EUR 6.5 million) to expand its manufacturing capabilities in its facility in Tiszaújváros. The investment will be supported by a EU fund from the Economic Development Program of HUF 380 million (EUR 1.3 million). The EMS-provider is said to expand due to increased demand for the production of mobile phones. Additional to that, Jabil also plans to establish a development centre in Hungary, which will also be supported by EU funds.
