Delphi employees negotiate higher severance pay
Employees at Delphi's manufacturing facility im Česká Lípa (Czech Republic) have negotiated a higher severance payment.
Union, employee representatives and Delphi management have agreed on a new severance package for the affected workers in Česká Lípa. Delphi Packard Electric CZ, a subsidiary of Delphi Automotive Systems, will relocate manufacturing from Česká Lípa to other locations in Poland and Romania. The facility is scheduled to close in March 2011.
