Sony close down in Barcelona

The Japanese electronics giant Sony is to close down it manufacturing location in Viladecavalls (Spain). The facility has currently over 1'000 employees.
The production at the facility will continue until the end of the year (as agreed with union and worker representatives), but the facility will be gradually transferred to automotive supplier Ficosa and engineering group Comsa-Emte, Spanish media reports.
