Cofidúr with net loss in 1H/2010
French EMS-provider Cofidúr reports a net loss of EUR 2.5 million for the 1H/2010.
Cofidúr reports a consolidated turnover of EUR 48.4 million for the first half year of 2010. This compares to a turnover of EUR 56 million for the same period in 2009. The EMS-provider states that the result was affected by the general effects of the economic downturn as well as by the volatile world market for components.
Both, the PCB and EMS business segments are doing well. EMS was able to secure a new customer (automotive) during the summer, with production going well until the end of the year.
