Foxconn CZ to hire in Pardubice
Taiwan-based EMS-giant Foxconn is hiring for its manufacturing unit in Pardubice (Czech Republic).
One of the biggest employers in the region, Taiwanese EMS-provider Foxconn, is looking for new staff at their facility in Pardubice. Staff numbers are said to increase by around 800. The number of foreign workers in the region had declined last year, but now numbers are on the rise again, local media reports.
The EMS-provider was apparently looking to hire Czech staff, but did not succeed in filling all positions. Now Foxconn is set to hire foreign workers again. As migrant workers continue to play a vital role in community, Mongolian workers from Foxconn's manufacturing facility in Pardubice have been collecting CZK 7'000 (EUR 280) for families that were affected by recent flooding in Northern Bohemia.
