Dassault Systèmes has acquired Geensoft, a provider of innovative embedded systems development solutions, for EUR 5.5 million.
"I am delighted to have Geensoft’s team of experts join Dassault Systèmes," said Dominique Florack, senior executive vice president, Products, Research & Development, Dassault Systèmes. "Together we will make the virtual product closer to the real world."

"As chairman of the Modelica Association," said Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Otter, Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics, DLR Research Center Oberpfaffenhofen. "I am very enthusiastic about this acquisition, which will further boost the smooth integration of Modelica and Autosar provided through the Eurosyslib and Modelisar European Research projects."

"We couldn’t dream of a better partner than DS to expand the reach of our solutions worldwide. Our customers, such as PSA Peugeot Citroën, Alstom and Airbus have already started to transform their embedded systems design approach.
