Hungary may become Huawei's European hub

Last year the company started a test operation in Hungary, and this year in September it will evaluate if it was successful. If yes, Hungary will become Huawei's European manufacturing and logistic hub. Next year the company will hire new employees and will have in total approximately 700 people in Hungary. Huawei is producing landlines and wireless telecommunications equipment, base stations and optical transmission in Pécs and Komárom, according to BBJ. The equipment produced in Hungary is mainly for the European market including Russia as well as north west Africa
