Hynix to buy Numonyx shares in Chinese JV
Hynix Semiconductor is to acquire all Numonyx shares in a Chinese joint venture.
South Korea based chip manufacturer Hynix Semiconductor is to acquire all shares of its Chinese unit from former partner Numonyx for KRW 522 billion (around EUR 350 million). The transaction—which is said to be completed by August 2010—comes after Micron's acquisition of Switzerland-based Numonyx in March.
