Connector sales to soften in 2Q & 3Q
A new quarterly report from market researcher Bishop & Associates predicts that industry demand in the 2Q/2010 and 3Q/2010 will soften.
The industry shipped USD 10’264 million in the 1Q/2010, up 39.4% over the 1Q/2009. Sequentially, 1Q/10 was up 3.9% over 4Q/09, states the market researcher.
“Sales are currently up 39.4% through 1Q/10, but we believe demand will soften modestly in the second and third quarters, before picking up again in the fourth quarter. This, combined with tougher comparisons, will drop full-year growth to 18.2% for the full-year 2010.
