Infineon invests in Singapore

German chip manufacturer Infineon is to establish an R&D centre in Singapore.
The company is said to invest around EUR 8 million in a new Application Innovation Centre to further expand the Asian R&D capacities. The new centre will be located in Singapore and will focus on solutions in electric-mobility, renewable energy as well as wireless communications.
