New AT&S CEO announces additional cost-cutting measures
Andreas Gerstenmayer, new boss at the Austria-based PCB manufacturer AT&S, has announced further cost-cutting measures.
In addition, the Austrian production location in Leoben-Hinterberg—after the massive restructuring—has to be ‘invented’. After the transfer of the volume production from Leoben-Hinterberg to Shanghai, the Austrian site will need a new business strategy as well as a new business model.
"Our suit is too big for us", said the CEO in an interview with the Industriemagazin. After the sales decline of 20%, particularly the administration is too enormous. Therefore, the company will introduce measures to ‘optimise administrative costs’, here particularly in the sales department.
