Partnertech opens production unit in Poland

Sweden-based EMS-provider Partnertech has signed a lease agreement for 12,000 m2 in the Panattoni Park Mysłowice in Poland. The company opens a production unit for enclosures and system integration.

The investment is part of PartnerTech's effort to develop its operations in Eastern Europe and will boost the competitiveness of all units. "The investment will strengthen our established industrial structure, supply chain and manufacturing expertise and capacity", said Rune Glavare, President and CEO of Partnertech. The new plant will serve as a production hub for the group and supply Partnertech’s units with sheet metal components and system integration. The unit is scheduled to be up and running in the second quarter of 2010. Beata Hryniewska, Head of Industrial & Logistics Agency at Jones Lang LaSalle comments: "Adaptation of the warehouse building for production purposes was a strategic decision bearing in mind PartnerTech’s plans to combine a high technology production plant together with a modern distribution facility. I believe that PartnerTech’s decision was supported by Panattoni’s wide experience in cooperation with production companies as well as the very good location of the industrial park in Mysłowice".
